one day we'll know
ẹniafẹ isis

one day we’ll know this life is a gift.

one day we’ll know relationship, connection, community, and kinship are essential, not optional.

one day we’ll know that every time we treat each other as if we are disposable, we dispose of pieces of our souls, and soul peaces aren’t easily replaceable.

one day we’ll know that earth and family isn’t an add on accessory but a part of life’s fabric and weaving, without it we fall apart, without it we are not whole, without it we are sick, and unwell.

one day we’ll know love isn’t a play thing; isn’t here for extraction, convenience and abuse; isn’t something we just feel and do when it’s easy, pleasing and comfortable.

one day we’ll know love as care, and know care is a constant, consistent, sometimes awkward and uncomfortable practice that we commit to, not only when it’s simple and especially with it’s challenging.

one day we’ll know love as our greatest inheritance, and we’ll know it isn’t here just for our pleasure, andtaking but for our cultivating, regenerating and reciprocating.
