beginning at breaking.

there’s an uneasiness in the air. an in between of seasons changing. a prolonging of broken things breaking.

breaking in between is almost never easy and there is no “right” way through.

this breaking feels different. pieces falling and parts coming undone. hearts set on fire and the kind of tired sleep cannot cure. an aching with no remedy. a roughness with no calm. a discomfort there is little comfort for.

there are more questions than answers here. languages pleading. a reminder and a knowing, there is no escaping.

we stay. we grow. the pieces fall together. the parts will find home. the body rests. the heart heals. and the fire doesn’t seek the water, because we are the well.

If you are experiencing a kind of lostness, aching in ways you cannot describe.

If you are feeling discomfort in spaces you once found comfort in, feeling in places that have been numb.

If the life you have known has begun to feel foreign. If the distractions are losing their grip on your attentions.

If you have begun peeling back the layers of this existence, accepting less of what you have been told and now find yourself spiraling down rabbit holes of what you do not know.

If you are looking more closely at realities, lifting veils of illusion, seeking and seeing what truth lies beneath the lies in plain sight.

If the attractiveness of ignoring has begun to reveal its ugly. If you are growing weary with the ways things are, finding yourself no longer willing to settle into acceptance.

If you are reckoning and seeking new ways of being. If you are quietly investigating, breaking against the fragility of life, and questioning the purpose of being.

If your heart is calling and your mind is bending into depths unfamiliar and you feel as if you are falling, please allow yourself to meet the soil.

Everything that comes to life begins in darkness. And like the root that breaks through the seed for anchoring, sometimes our growth begins with our breaking.
