Eniafe Isis Adewale. Daughter, sister, auntie, friend, lover, creative and passionateur (passionate entrepreneur). Writer, seeker, listener, healer. On my very best days, genius.
ABOUT MY NAME
By English translation my given first name, Eniafebiafe (origin Nigeria, language Yoruba) means ‘the one to be loved like the air’. Yorubas believe given names are so profound that the names children bear can influence their entire life cycle, from behavior and integrity to profession and success. Isis, one of three middle names, is the Greek translation of the Egyptian name Aset. Isis was the mother and wife of kings; goddess of wisdom and magic.
A LITTLE BACKSTORY
For eight years - after leaving home at 16 to study in New York at the Dance Theatre of Harlem, and after graduating with a degree in sociology, from Fordham University at Lincoln Center - I worked as intern, then Senior Manager of Special Events, Marketing and Public Relations for Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation. Since departing from Rush in 2011, I have spread my wings and flexed some independent professional muscle. I have worked with brands domestically and abroad as event producer, project manager and multiple hat wearer. With a natural creative sense, supreme eye for detail and an innate desire to serve, I over-stand needs and aim to re-create the bar of expectation, performance and execution.
WHAT I DO
Currently residing in Los Angeles, California, I serve as C.E.O (Chief Experience Officer) of E X I Concepts, a company specializing in project development and management and am also the creative mind behind, ALL HER WORDS, a digital platform focused on amplifying the voices of a fuller spectrum of women by paying homage to their truths, experiences and journeys.
So. There you have it.
What else can I tell you?
